League of Legends’ patch 9.17 isn’t bringing many big changes, as we won’t see anymore meta-changing updates until Worlds 2019 comes and goes, but it still has some sweet stuff in it. Aurelion Sol and Kayle are getting a smattering of changes to make them a bit more desirable to play. Below is a table summarizing North American release date with Patch Notes link of the notable events, and, where applicable, the newly introduced champion of each patch. A patch (otherwise known as a new client version) is a modification to the game files of League of Legends. Every patch will.
With League of Legends patch 9.22 now live, it’s time for another round of LoL patch testing, and to see what the next content headed to the game might be. LoL patch 9.23 has hit the PBE and it’s a bigone – the last patch was the final update before the preseason launch, which means patch 9.23 will be bringing the preseason 2020: Rise of the Elements update to the game.
Many of the preseason 2020: Rise of the Elements rebalances and changes to Summoner’s brought in for testing in the last patch cycle continue to stay live on the PBE for testing into this cycle, too. But that’s not all – there are some new balance changes for items and runes that look set to add some new playstyles to the mix. Plus, there are some shiny new skins to look out for: Aatrox gets a Victorious skin, and there are some new looks for Thresh with Pulsefire and Pulsefire Prestige Edition skins. You can see these below.
Read on to find out more about the latest round of changes being put through their paces on the PBE, but remember that, as always, everything covered below is subject to change – so be sure to keep checking back for updates on LoL patch 9.23.
